This years Pixie Day saw a record number of youngers participating in the festivities with some 95 young pixies decending on the town to retell the story of 'The Pixies Revenge'.
Made up of members of Ottery's Brownies, Cubs, Beavers and Rainbows, the children, dressed up in full Pixie costume, race through the town to the Church, capturing the Bell ringers then parading them back to the Pixie Cave.
The Story then regales hows the Bell Ringers finally escape, humiliating the Pixies until they flee!
This town pageant is held to not only commemorate Pixie day but to raise much needed funds for the local Scout and Guide Organisation.
With a fully packed programe, the 'Land of Canaan' featured a variety of stall, a tae kwon-do display, pet show and barbecue and bar.
2017's Pixie day marked Richard Coley, Chairman of the Pixie Day Committees's 40th year involved with the event. The children sang a special song to mark the celebration.
The event featured fireworks to concluded the days festivities.
